This home had a 30-year-old wood-shake roof that had multiple leaks and was in need of replacement. The homeowners were paying a very high premium for their insurance policy to cover the shake shingles. The small amount of hail that has hit this neighborhood wasn't being covered by insurance. It was time for the roof to be replaced, it was at the end of its life.
Solution
High Impact was able to find an impact-resistant shingle that matched the house's paint colors and exterior brick. The roof was replaced with dimensional asphalt shingles, Owens Corning Duration Storm in the color Teak. The homeowners were extremely happy with the new discount they received with a class 4, impact-resistant shingle.
